Apple’s third quarter revenues are down 27% from the previous year. The tech giant’s third quarter revenues were $42.4 billion, down from $49.6 billion last year.
The recent iPhone models have performed poorly in the Chinese market. This is one of the main causes of Apple’s loss in sales this quarter.
The company sold 40.4 million iPhones this quarter, which is down 15%. $24.08 billion of the company’s revenues were from iPhone sales this past quarter, down from $31.368 billion last year.
Apple does not disclose sales figures from specific regions, however China is the company’s largest smart phone market. Smartphone sales in China are important for Apple’s future profits.
Last quarter, Apple’s revenues in China were $16.8 billion. China overtook Europe to become the world’s second largest market for the tech company.
Artesyn Embedding Technologies reported that Huawei and Samsung are more competitive than ever in China’s high-end smartphone market.

Because people are choosing cheaper brands due to the quality of cheaper brands rising. Which is due to cheaper brands taking invented technology. When rich companies invent something small ones leech. Also it is trending more and more that phones do not provide face as anyone can have them.
