The Israeli Embassy in China announced yesterday that China and Israel will sign a 10 year multiple entry visa agreement this week. Hainan Airlines will also launch direct flights from Israel to China this month.

On June 1, 2015, Singapore launched a multiple entry visa for Chinese citizens valid up to 10 years. This January, South Korea issued 10 year tourists visas for Chinese citizens. Australia also plans to launch a 10 year multiple entry visa for Chinese tourists before the end of 2016.

Israel’s Ministry of Tourism reported that Chinese tourism to Israel has increased annually by more than 30% in the past three years. In 2015, 4.74 million Chinese visited Israel, a 43% increase from 2014.
