China has Faster 4G LTE than the United States

China is ranked 38th in the world for 4G LTE speed. The United States has fallen in the rankings to 55th. The nations with the fastest 4G LTE are New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea, according to a recent report by OpenSignal.

China 4G network download speeds were an average of 13 Mbps from June to August of this year. In the United States, downloads speeds averaged 9 Mbps. The U.S. fell in the rankings from 43 to 55 as 4G capabilities grew in other countries throughout the world.

OpenSignal said in the report that the United States was one of the first nations to launch 4G LTE services. Version launched 4G LTE back in late 2010. However, the United States has not developed the technology much further when compared to other nations.

The average 4G download speeds in New Zealand are 36 Mbps, which are the fastest in the world. South Korea has increased its 4G LTE speed in recent years from 4 Mbps to 29 Mbps, and Singapore has increase its speeds from 5 Mbps to 33 Mbps.
