Gang Selling Illegal Firearms on Taobao Arrested in Hebei
Sep 07, 2015 By eChinacities.com

Five suspects in Hebei were arrested this past Saturday for running a sales network for illegal firearms, accessories, and lead bullets. The suspects were caught trafficking arms from Xingtai, Hebei to cities in over 30 provinces.

The ring began in 2014, when one suspect, Liang, hired another suspect Ji to manufacture air gun pellets in his home, and Li, a third suspect, to illegal manufacture air guns in Xingtai’s Ningfeng marketplace. Liang would then sell the air guns, along with other illegally obtained firearms, online.

The air guns and firearms were sold from Liang’s store to over 500 customers in 30 provinces including Beijing, Shanghai, Hebei, Shandong, and Shanxi. The store even shipped arms to Taiwan, and the United States.

Each weapon was sold on Taobao for more than 2,000 Yuan. Liang and his gang made more than 1.4 million Yuan in sales.

So, did the lead bullets have a casing..aka gunpowder lead bullets, or were they air powered lead bullets ? There's a BIG difference. Geez, be more specific !
