A bank teller in Guangdong province really kept his cool as he allegedly asked a thief to queue while the man was trying to rob the bank with a kitchen knife.
The incident occurred at 9:00 on Thursday when a man walked into a bank in Heyuan and shouted “I’m robbing money” while waving around a kitchen knife. The man’s ‘robbery’ was met by the bank teller’s calm and collected request for him to queue.
The man surprisingly followed the instructions, and when it was his turn, he demanded 10,000 RMB from the teller who denied his request because his bank account only had 1 RMB left.
The robber was caught by the police not much later, and taken into custody. What a failed attempt at robbing a bank.

Inside sources tell me this robber watched some youtube vids on successful bank robberies in the USA. One glaring aspect he neglected (probably due to his poor IQ), is the fact that most banks in China are behind Plexiglas. #Facepalm

e… it is unwise to rob the bank with a kitchen knife .maybe more things he needs to disguise himself , or he just want to into custody.

I agree with Kaiwen about the teller looking female but that might be due to a bad translation of the generic Chinese pronoun. Epic answers to the bank robber if at all true though

Could be bad translation, or could be that the person in that photo wasn't the bank teller who was interacting with the robber... hard to tell.
