Zhuhai is hosting this year’s China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition; the only international aerospace trade show in China that is approved by the central government.
During the show, big aerospace corporations can announce new products, and show them off. China did just that, as they displayed a sophisticated new stealth fighter jet, ABC news reports. Many international media outlets commented on China’s intense display of military power, which kicked off precisely as world leaders gathered for the APEC Summit.
The new J-31 aircraft, developed by Avic, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, will compete on an international stage with jets produced in the US. Experts have indicated that the jets would be of interest to foreign buyers, especially those who are cut off from the US arms market.

It looks like China has stolen the wrong blueprints. They're going to feel pretty silly when they test this thing in combat.
