Central Government Requires Ministries Switch 15% of Computers to Domestically Produced Operating Systems Annually
Oct 28, 2014 By eChinacities.com

According to industry sources, the central government has requested each individual ministry to replace 15% of Windows operating systems with domestically produced operating systems, each year.

If replacement does occur at this rate, significant milestones will be reached by 2020. This trend of replacing operating systems with those produced domestically is the trend for the entire future, iFeng reported, and not just for central ministries, but also for large state owned enterprises and local governments.

Eventually, hopes are that everything will be domestically produced; servers, chips, software, and other products.

I think what candy is saying is that IF they should use it...it better be good. Saying it's dumb to force it on people and only proves the quality is sub par, as if it was a better product/value people would be buying it anyway without regulations to force it.

Source link is dead. But from the picture: all Linux. First of them is an Ubuntu derivative, developed and supported by Canonical. The only Chinese thing in it will be the embedded spywares and backdoors. Try again China.
