Chinese Media Blasts US Tech Companies for Spying as Google is Blocked in the Mainland

Various Chinese Media outlets- including the State-run People’s Daily- have condemned Google alongside various other US tech firms such as Yahoo and Microsoft in a report published earlier this week.

The companies stand accused of cooperating with the NSA’s PRISM program to spy on China and steal state secrets. The claims have been denied by the various agencies.

The report, titled: ‘US Global Monitoring Record’ purports to confirm details of spying allegations against several major US tech giants that operate in China.

Internet companies’ alleged cooperation with the NSA has been widely discussed in other international media, but Google has been the only one to be blocked, with many speculating that timing of the ban is more than just a coincidence.

The cooling down of already frosty relations between the two superpowers comes after the US indicted 5 Shanghai based army officers for hacking and economic espionage.

China has no technological secrets worth stealing. The only thing worth performing espionage in China for, is figuring out political/military intentions and shortening response time to any buildup of armed/naval forces. If that's what China wants to keep secret, then I'm afraid to say that its Nazi-glorifying ideals have already been revealed. Spy to your heart's content on this occasion, USA, with my blessings.

BS. China is cracking down on external internet sites because the CCP is afraid of stirring the pot on the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre.
