Love Triangle Negotiations End With All Three Jumping Off Bridge, All Survive
Mar 20, 2014 By eChinacities.com

A love triangle featuring three 16 year old Fujian high school students nearly ended in tragedy on March 18. Two girls, named Li and Liu, both had the hots for one of their classmates, Chen. The situation finally came to a head and a solution was needed before the three could move on emotionally. They decided to meet on a bridge that crosses Jinan river to hold a conference of sorts.

When the girls continued to bicker and were unable to come up with a compromise, Chen decided to jump off the bridge in protest. Li quickly followed her love. Not wanting to be the third wheel, Liu followed suit and all three ended up the water before being saved by police.

To quote Seth Cohen from The OC: “Speaking from a recent personal experience the triangle is not a friendly shape, okay? It's pointy, it's got sharp edges. Triangles hurt people.”
