Rich Chinese Couples Hiring US Woman for Surrogate Pregnancy

According to sources from Reuters, an increasing number of wealthy Chinese citizens are hiring US women to act as surrogate mothers to have babies for them. The reasons for wanting to have their children born in the USA include: to circumvent the Chinese one-child policy, to overcome fertility issues, to allow later generations to have US citizenship, and to pave the way to allow themselves to become US citizens through their children. According to US laws, US citizens must be 21 years of age before being able to apply for a green card for their parents.

The quoted price charged by Chinese intermediary agencies to introduce prospective US surrogate mothers to Chinese clients ranges from 120,000 to 200,000 USD. One of these agents was quoted to have said, "Including airfare and other expenses, the total cost should be about 300,000 USD. For that price you can have two children as well as have your entire family immigrate over to the USA." As well, applicants for immigration to the USA are required to invest at least 500,000 USD into a local US business that will create employment opportunities.

These Chinese clients for surrogate pregnancies hope to still use their own ovum and sperm, but the number of Chinese parents that accept contributions of ovum from others are also increasing. Additionally, there are Chinese parents that accept ovum of Caucasians based on the belief that these mixed-blood children will grow up to be more beautiful and smart.

this article picks and chooses between a myriad of facts; and presents a story on calculated page views. pregnancy/having a mixed blood baby (for any reason) services already exist at a fraction cost. these 5-figure sums are about immigration schemes, LEGAL, AND MADE *BY* the US government, in which people receive immigrant visas in order to ease travel towards their investment into a US backwater economy, for example Detroit. in reality these services simply propagate the immigration visa alone. sometimes, there may be a house purchase involved. and sometimes, there may be a quicker route to dependents entering the US through these surrogate programs. in ANY case; the price is NOT based on the surrogate program alone. the price is based on the purchase of a house or "investment" into America, and the price may be found on websites of the US government directly also. the surrogate thing in this article was mixed/matched for drama reasons.
