Shanghai taxis were named fourth best in the world in the Hotels.com 2012 Taxi Survey. The survey covered 57 cities around the world and participants critiqued taxis on seven categories – Cleanliness, Value, Quality of Driving, Knowledge of the Area, Friendliness, Safety and Availability. This is the first time a city in Mainland China has made the top five list. London is still the reigning champion five years in a row, followed by New York and Tokyo.

Obviously they only counted the new Expo taxis and not the rest of them...
