Beijing: No Viral Pathogens Found in Strawberries Exported To Germany
Oct 17, 2012 By eChinacities.com

Following an incident late last month in which 11,000 German students became ill, allegedly from imported Chinese strawberries, China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) recently conducted an inspection of the strawberry exporter in question, reportedly finding no trace of the suspected norovirus. According to the official report, the Shandong company meets all health and food safety regulations and thus there is no reason to believe that their frozen strawberries were infected prior to export.
