Super Typhoon Lands in Taiwan, Will Hit China Saturday Morning

Super typhoon Nepartak landed in Taiwan early Friday morning. The typhoon landed about 15 kilometers south of Taitung. One death and 66 with injuries have been reported.

The typhoon is expected to his Mainland China by early Saturday morning. The storm will land in Fujian and hit six provinces in the next 60 hours including Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Shanghai.

Areas downstream of the Yangzte River and the Lake Tai Basin may experience heavy rain and flooding.
