Uniqlo Fitting Room Sex Tape Breaks the Chinese Internet

Uniqlo Fitting Room Sex Tape Breaks the Chinese Internet
Jul 16, 2015 By eChinacities.com

A smart phone sex tape shot in the dressing room of the Beijing Sanlitun Uniqlo store has rocked the Chinese internet since it was posted online last Tuesday. The one minute and 11 second video shows a young couple having sex in a store fitting room. The woman is naked, and the man is shooting the video in the fitting room mirror with his mobile phone.

The video blew up in China. Many Netizens even suspected the video of being a marketing scheme for Uniqlo, which the company denies. Yesterday morning, “Uniqlo,” was the number one trending item on Weibo, with 132 million searches. The next top seven search terms were also related to the video.

Uniqlo issued a statement denying that the incident was a marketing stunt for the brand. A worker at the Sanlitun branch of the store said that dressing rooms are divided by gender, and men are not allowed to enter the women's fitting rooms and vice versa.

Beijing police announced online that they have begun to investigate the incident. Internet giants Sina and Tencent that operate social media platforms Weibo and Wechat, where the video has been widely spread, were summoned by the State Internet Information Office to work with the police in their investigation.

Im trying to determine the most comical aspect of this story. 1) the duration of 1:11 seconds of sex. 2) the fact such a thing went viral (is there not plenty of porn to be seen from a variety of places on the net ?!) 3) The police have begin a deep, serious investigation into said event. Oh China... WTH, WTF.

Mercenary women are open for business 24/7 and accommodate their tuhao benefactors readily, but they set a disturbing trend. how many nutters are going to be paying prostitutes so they can measure up with their own vulgar sex tapes? it's all or nothing with Chinese, even sexually. No sense of measure.at all.

"A worker at the Sanlitun branch of the store said that dressing rooms are divided by gender, and men are not allowed to enter the women's fitting rooms and vice versa." Putting it on the internet for what, show the world how devoid of basic human decency they are, like defecating, peeing, spitting in public, lie, cheat, steal, extort as they like? Hardly news, local and global!

Seriously, one minute and 11 seconds? LoL! I can hold my breath for that long! But seriously, why are the Beijing police investigating this? No crime was committed, move along, let minute man live.

Personally, I am happy for this news. I really am enjoying this brief period of no "Bad Laowai Behavior", "No visa restrictions", and "No Yangrui Sweeping Out the Foreign Trash" news. Let the locals sort this out themselves while we just enjoy "letting nature take its course".

One minute, eleven seconds. That's rather impressive by Chinese standards.
