Skyscraper Resembling Misshapen Pair of Pants Constructed in Hangzhou
Apr 28, 2016 By eChinacities.com

A building that resembles a very strange pair of pants was recently constructed on Hangzhou’s Qian River. The pant legs look a bit wavy, and one thigh is much larger than the other. Hangzhou residents have joked that the one leg is skinner than the other because of “malnutrition.”

The 39 story eyesore is called the Hangzhou Yin, named after the city’s West Lake’s famous attraction Three Pools Mirroring the Moon (San Tan Yin Yue). For better or worse, the large skyscraper will soon become one of Hangzhou’s riverside landmarks.
