China’s Population 1.37 Billion, 51% Male in 2015

Numbers from the 2015 Chinese census were released today by the National Bureau of Statistics. The annual census surveys 1% of the Mainland Chinese population. The population of China’s 31 provinces and autonomous regions 1.37 billion in 2015. In 2010, the population was 1.33 billion.

Males accounted for 51.22% of the Mainland Chinese population in 2015, while females made up 48.78% of the population. There are now 105.02 males to every 100 females in China, down from 105.20 to 100 in 2010.

The country could support the LGBT community and reinforce family values by including these lifestyles. It will lower the birth rate, increase adoption rates and revitalize the economy with a new purpose. A family can't grow if its divided.

In fact it is the other way round... some guys (who have the money) keep several mistresses

dom87 -> True, they can maintain 10-20 mistresses if they have the means to do so, these are many and they are one major reason for aggravating the gender gap, not the handful of foreigners having one chinese girlfriend/wife each. Chinese men don't want to face this reality, other Chinese are responsible for their sentimental misery, not Foreigners.
