Kunming Locals Call Police on Foreigners Pretending to Shoot Birds
Feb 03, 2016 By eChinacities.com

Kunming locals called the police on two foreigners who appeared to be shooting black-headed gulls with air guns at Kunming’s Green Lake Park yesterday afternoon. A number of passerby approached the two foreigners to persuade them to stop shooting at the birds. The two foreigners continued shooting.

Angry Kunming locals eventually reported them to the police. Local police rushed to the scene and quickly figured out that the guns were fake. The guns were merely props for a photo shoot.

Chinese media originally reported that the guns were real, and Netizens spoke out against the foreigners. Netizen Li Gan commented on QQ News, “When a Chinese university student was caught selling birds he was sentenced to 11 years in prison. How many years will these foreigners get for shooting birds?”

They definitely have too much spare time, hence why their economy is a mess and is imploding right now, not productive enough.

Even the souless Wumao's seem to be gone. No doubt packed in line for a train, plane, or bus back to Wumao home.

I've been all over, all over, and among various things pushed into my face over the years, a surprisingly sharp Federales' muzzle. People, including soldiers and police get very nervous when looking upon a toy/replica firearm, and very sadly they shoot children down dead for holding up toy guns with alarming frequency. I think you'll find that morons are arrested or at least questioned for presenting toy guns all over the world. Mostly they end up in the mid-sections of the paper, and are forgotten, unless someone fires on them.

You should have called the cops on them, claiming their hurt your feeling and asking for 1 million RMB in compensation to be divided between all the adults who fake-shot at you.

the lack of any bullets being shot was no reason to call off a perfectly acceptable reason to call the police on foreigners

Any reason is good enough to call the cops on Foreigners. "OMFG a laowai jaywalking! Hurry up call the cops on him!!!" meanwhile 1000 Chinese jaywalked on the same street, unpunished.
