Shaanxi Man Arrested for Spreading Terrorist Propaganda on QQ

A suspect was arrested in December in Hancheng, Shaanxi for posting terrorist propaganda online. Wang posted the propaganda message three times in QQ groups while in a Hancheng Internet café. The message read: “Large numbers of soldiers are now being recruited to the Middle East for holy jihad. We welcome those with lofty ideals to join the glorious cause.”

On January 4, 2016 Wang was arrested in by Hancheng police. The local government announced on January 7 that the case was the first terrorism-related arrest in Hangcheng history.
