A pretty clever fellow from Wenzhou was able to outsmart his robber with a 5,000 Won note from South Korea. Wu, 22 was held up by a masked robber on New Year’s Eve.
He pretended to cooperate with the robber and pulled out a 5,000 won bill, telling the thief that it was Euros. The thief, feeling extremely lucky, gave Wu back his Iphone 6, and let him escape safely. 5,000 won is worth about 27.5 Yuan.
Four suspects were later arrested in the case.

The vast majority of people on this planet would have no idea how much 5000KRW is worth, they would probably know it wasn't a Euro note though! Currency scams are surprisingly easy to implement, most people are totally clueless about exchange rates and have really poor maths skills.
