863 Corrupt Fugitive Officials Returned to China in “Tiger Hunt”
Jan 07, 2016 By eChinacities.com

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced that 863 corrupt fugitive officials had been found and recovered in 68 different countries in the commission’s most recent “tiger hunt.” The 863 included party members and 196 national government staff. In addition, 19 people on the list of the 100 most-wanted corrupt Chinese officials have been brought back to China for questioning as of January 1.

Last April, Interpol China National Central Bureau released the names of the 100 most-wanted corrupt fugitive officials. Three days after the notice was issued, Dai Xuemin, a corrupt official who had fled the country 14 years ago, was the first person arrested. In seven months, 18 more people from the most-wanted list were brought to justice.

Huang Yurong fled to the United States 13 years ago, and returned to China to surrender himself in December 2015. The 19th suspect, Pei Jianqiang, was arrested and brought back to China on January 1, 2016.

Which means Chinese task forces are operating abroad illegally, probably through illegal means and no one is doing anything about it. And you wonder why Trump is skyrocketing the polls.

It's an agreement through the Interpol. Chinese must present proof, and Interpol (with Chinese members) acts all around the world.

Chinese agents also go around harassing wanted fugitives and others who are simply suspected. That violates the law and goes beyond any official agreements.

Obviously, foreign Gov. (US) doesn't care (consider that as harassment) or let them do it. You can't blame Chinese, when they act in USA. Gov. there is aware of that. I would say.
