Woman Calls Police on Husband for Drunk Driving after Argument

Woman Calls Police on Husband for Drunk Driving after Argument
Dec 14, 2015 By eChinacities.com

Li and his wife went out drinking with some friends last Wednesday. The couple had an argument in the car, and Li left his wife on the side of the road halfway to their home. In a rage, his wife called the police and reported her husband for drunk driving. They were soon pulled over by police.

Mrs. Li called the police, told them her husband was driving drunk and gave them directions on how to find him. Police spotted the black sedan and immediately pulled the driver over. The driver was Mr. Li. His blood alcohol content was 56 mg/100 ml which constitutes drunk driving.

Mrs. Li caught up to her husband and the police and the two continued to argue. The police were eventually able to calm the couple down.

Li was fined 1,000 Yuan, lost 12 points on his license and banned from driving for six months.

I think she was right ! First of all, he is not a respectful man, leaved her on the street ! Second, he was drunk ! So, she protected other peoples of being involved in an accident while they would be inocents! The man no care her, why she should care him then ???

Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned. I would leave my ole wifey high and dry if she ever pulled some sh*t like that on me. I'd be ever so clever about it though...one day she would come home and wonder where all my stuff went, and be wondering where the money will be coming from in the future. Bam! yeah, thats reality hitting you square in the face.

Well by dumping her on the side of the road and driving off, he was the first one to make a dick move. You could say he had it coming.

Granted that may very well be true that he was being a dik, but she had other options instead of getting the police involved. What Im trying to say here is what she did was a blatant act of betrayal as wife and husband by running to a third party to boo-hoo. Women, always acting on their emotions instead of using logic...typical.

Well she may have also saved his life by getting him pulled over. It's not like drunk driving isn't pretty dangerous. Hell, for all we know, the argument might have actually been about him driving drunk. So yeah, maybe she is completely in the wrong, but maybe not.

The-Final-Say

Look at the bright side of this, although I am sure this wasn't her intention during the heat of the battle, lives may have been saved. Nobody should ever drink and drive and worse yet, I would not want to be in the car of a drunk person, thats just not right. I have seen the end game on many roads in this world, even lost a cousin due to drinking and driving and it is very sad when people lose their loved ones due to this issue. All my buddies love to get out to the bars and some have cars in China. If they know they have gone over the limit, they just lock the car and come back in the morning as there are plenty of taxis around in China and lives are saved in this way.

Ouch. At home that decision would cost them $10000 plus.

If that BAC reading is accurate, you would not even be prosecuted in many countries at that level. The UK limit for blood alcohol is 80 mg/100 ml.
