Which 10 countries and regions are most the economically dependent on China? Forbes published a list last week, which surprisingly to many Chinese, includes Japan.

China’s economy has experienced a recent slow-down, and China’s export-dependent countries and regions will often feel the squeeze. From Australia to Taiwan, these 10 countries and regions will soon face the consequences of China’s economic slow-down.

10) Indonesia: 10 percent of Indonesia exports go to China. This is equivalent to 2 percent of GDP.

9) Thailand: 12 percent of Thai exports go to China, equivalent to 7 percent of the country’s GDP.

8) Malaysia: 12 percent of Malaysian exports go to China, about 10 percent of the country’s GDP.

7) Brazil: 18 percent of Brazilian exports go to China. China is Brazil’s biggest overseas market, but Brazilian exports to China only account for 2 percent of Brazil’s GDP.

6) Peru: 19 percent of Peru’s exports go to China, equivalent to about 4 percent of the country’s GDP.

5) Japan: 19 percent of Japan’s exports go to China, about 3 percent of the country’s GDP.

4) Chile: 23 percent of Chilean exports go to China, mostly from the copper trade between the two countries. Chile’s exports to China account for about 8 percent of the nation’s GDP.

3) South Korea: Although China’s market is volatile, South Korea’s is quite strong. 25 percent of South Korea exports go to China, equal to about 11 percent of the nation’s GDP.

2) Taiwan: Taiwan’s economic performance is quite good. 26 percent of Taiwan’s exports go to China, equal to 16 percent of the region’s GDP.

1) Australia: 34 percent of Australian exports go to China, mostly iron ore. This is equal to 6 percent of Australia’s GDP.

So, based on the stats...seems to me only 2 nations are China Biatches. Chile and South Korea.

'a list, which surprisingly to many Chinese, includes Japan.' Let's not forget that China is also economically dependent on the regions mentioned. It never tires me, when Chinese people boast their hatred for everything Japanese, to point out that Japan is China's largest or second largest trade partner. It usually seems to be some really confusing news.
