Man Conned Out of 3,000 Yuan by “Hot Woman” on Dating Site

A man surnamed Dan in Liuzhou, Guangxi, was conned out of 3,000 Yuan by an “attractive woman” that he met online. The woman told him that she would pay him 800,000 Yuan if he could get her pregnant in three months, and then asked for lawyer fees to draw up the contract. Too good to be true? Definitely.

Dan had just moved to Liuzhou for work and registered with a dating site to meet new people. He started chatting with a user on November 16 who had a beautiful young woman as her avatar. He added her on QQ. Dan asked her if her avatar was really a photo of her. She said yes, and Dan could not help being “flattered,” that she was chatting him up.

The woman complained to Dan that she had been married for many years but had not been able to get pregnant. Her husband had been diagnosed as impotent. She was looking for an “athletic, honest, and trustworthy,” man to have a child with. She said that if he could get her pregnant within three months she would give him an 800,000 Yuan reward.

The woman said that she would hire a lawyer to draw up an agreement that Dan would pay for. Dan called the number the woman provided for a lawyer surnamed Dong. The lawyer told Dan that the fees to draw up a contract were 4,000 Yuan. Dan panicked because he only had 3,000 Yuan. The lawyer was very “reasonable” and accepted Dan’s 3,000 Yuan payment through PayPal.

Dan waited for the next few days, eagerly waiting to meet the woman. On November 20, Dan received another call from Dong asking for 16,000 Yuan for “tax reasons.” Dan realized that he had been played. He took the next day off work and went to the local police station to report the scammers.

Police said that these scams used to be more popular, but now more people are aware of them because of media stories. However, a number of men still fall for the trap when sex is on the line.

"I (a beautiful woman) will pay you (an ugly loser) to have sex with me (bareback) and I want you to shoot your load and we will keep doing this until I am pregnant. After I am pregnant I will pay you a million British pounds (might as well say ) to walk away. But you must first go and pay my lawyer 4000rmb before you can even see me or hear my voice or video chat." Yeah, no way that's a con. Students have told me that when they've tried to contact the police because they were assaulted the police would often tell them to leave them alone .This guy should be slapped and arrested for attempted prostitution.
