A Shanghai man tried to enter an area blocked for the marathon this past Sunday to pick up his wife at the grocery store. The man tried to drive through an area barricaded off for the marathon by Shanghai police.

“I’m sorry sir, a large amount of marathoners will come through here, it is dangerous,” said police. “My wife went grocery shopping, and if I am late to pick her up, it is dangerous,” said the witty old man.
