Marketing Stunt: Women in Thongs and Heels Promote App in Beijing

Marketing Stunt: Women in Thongs and Heels Promote App in Beijing
Nov 04, 2015 By eChinacities.com

A group of Beijing women walked around Soho in tiny black thongs and heels yesterday as part of a marketing stunt, giving the foreign Spartans quite a run for their money.

The stunt was part of a marketing campaign for a new app. The name of the app was printed on the girls’ backs.

The marketing campaign was soon put to a halt by security and those involved are now under police investigation.

More than 20 women wandered Beijing’s Guomao in chilly fall weather in black underwear. The women all had long hair, high heels. On their exposed butts, the company had stamped a QR code for their app.

The women attracted a large crowd, who took photos and video of the marketing stunt.

No offense but if I see a bunch of long haired, bikini clad Chinese beauties coming at me on the street in 5Degree weather, I am going to take notice. I hope nothing bad comes from this kind of marketing, I think it is brilliant stuff. People really need to lighten up but I doubt thats going to happen anytime soon.

Everyone knows only Chinese men are allowed to be scantly dressed. Anyone else will make them feel insecure. Nude foreign men, no! That would embarrass Chinese men. Nude women, no! That would embarrass Chinese men. Women should just stay at home and wait for their parents to sell... i mean match make them.
