A Nanjing bus driver stopped a woman from committing suicide on Sunday by stopping her from jumping off the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge.

The bus driver, Bian Pengfei, saw the woman with her leg over the railing, about to jump. The driver pulled the emergency break, got off the bus, and pulled the woman away from the edge of the bridge. The woman struggled to break free while crying and screaming.

The passengers on the bus worked together to calm the woman down, but it was Bian’s quick thinking that saved her. The woman later was picked up by police.

Finally! So sick of the stories where something terrible happens and nobody does anything. Bian Pengfei is the man!

The woman later stated that she was just sitting on the side of the bridge when some guy rugby tackled her to the ground. Seriously though, well done that man!

We don't know this woman's situation. It's good the bus driver prevented a death. Don't you agree?
