When Mr. Xiao received 50,000 Yuan from a Qingdao entrepreneur after getting ripped off at a Qingdao seafood stall, he donated the money to help a friend with a sick child.

Xiao was ripped off in a now infamous scam during National Week when he was charged 38 Yuan per piece of shrimp, rather than for the whole dish. Qingdao entrepreneur “Qingdao Beach,” donated 50,000 Yuan to Xiao after hearing the news because he felt terrible that someone had been cheated so badly in his city.

Xiao said that the donation was made with love, and he wanted to continue the love. His friend, Guan Manlin has a seven month year old son was diagnosed with a lung disease. The family has already spent more than 330,000 Yuan on hospital bills and is still being treated. The 50,000 Yuan in cash will be a live-saver for the family.

This is the China I wish to see more, it's pointless to have so much money if it isn't used to better the world and help those in need. Also generosity should not be limited to the family and friends.
