A China Eastern Nanchang to Taipei flight was turned around ten minutes after take-off today for an emergency landing after a passenger claimed to have brought a bomb on board.
The passenger was handed over to the police after the threat was verified as fake.
The flight was at 1:30 pm, MU2047 from Nanchang's Changbei Airport to Taipei.

It was a fake threat. No biggie. Fake stuff happens. It's China.

the individual claimed he/she had a bomb. So as this claim was false, he/she should be heavily fined. It should discourage the stupid.

To stop this from ever happening again the guilty party should compensate all of passengers 100k each. Money is all people care about.
