Man's Expensive Car Scratched by Kid

Man's Expensive Car Scratched by Kid
Jul 10, 2015 By eChinacities.com

A man in Xi'an with a very expensive sports car received a costly surprise two days ago.

The man was sitting in his limited edition Benz Carlsson when he heard a scraping sound. He opened the door to check it out, and to his horror, there was an 11-year-old kid holding a diamond-like object in his hand scratching the outside of his car.

The man quickly grabbed the kid to keep him from leaving. The kid was taken to the  police station by someone at some point, and it was discovered that the child scratched nine cars that day.

The man had bought the car for 3 million yuan back in 2013 and there were only 999 of that type made. The long scratch on the car will require over 10,000 yuan in repairs.

The car owner and the kid’s parents have already had some discussion on the matter.

Poor people are funny. I came expecting garbage about chinese society. You didnt disapoint but instead I found everyonr attacking the car owner for havibg a nice car. Pretty pathetic. Especially.considering there is nothing in the article to indicate the guy was a douche. But you english teachers never give up. Haha all people with money are bad, they are all holding you guys down right? You guys should all go move to the forrest and circle jerk each other in peace. Trust me, you wont be missed. Id like to remind you that a quick look on facebook shows hundreds of kids from all countries scratching and writing on cars or other property. It happens. But if its from your country its cute or a mishap. But if a chinese kid does it it is sociopathic behavior haha do any of you just admit your racist? Or dumb? Or are you too ignorant to realize that? Also about the car. America is the number one market for super expensive cars. Out of those 300 the majority would be in the states right now. Some would be in singapore which is even more expensive than China. Id say get off your high horse but you guys couldnt even afford to ride one.

The kid was taken to the police station by someone at some point. That's some class A reporting there. Something happened by someone somewhere, because of something.

The parents could be behind this, I have witnessed chinese parents instructing their four year old kid to say dispicable, nasty things to their enemies such as you are shameless, you are a thief... taking advantage of the fact that it is difficult to insult a 4 year old kid back. This is popular among mainland chinese.

Must be a slow news day. This happens everywhere, everyday. Who cares how much this fool payed for his overpriced car. I'm waiting for the part that says it was a foreign "kid".

It's part of the Chinese sick mindset, "look how rich one is", trying to impress others through external signs of wealth. Sadly for them, it doesn't seem to work with non-Chinese, this they never learn. Whenever I talk with locals, money and wealth have to be put onto the table. Mention someone "oh, this person is so rich!", they seen to have no other interest. For Chinese, money is an end in itself.

The kid, or the driver who decided to park his status symbol on the sidewalk?

Nailed it, sociopaths by definition are manipulative, deceptive, hedonistic, short term thinkers, lack empathy, love to take risks and conflicts, living on the edge. Chinese people in a nutshell.

Hang on a sec. Owning and using a nice car makes you a sociopath now?

Karajorma -> Owning a nice car is not the problem, the way people behave because they own a nice car is. Typical behaviour of nice car owners in China include driving through red light, parking where it's forbidden and driving on the sidewalk. This sums the problem very well: http://www.laowaicomics.com/image/63613668054

But where did it say in the article the driver was behaving like an ass? Are you just assuming he is a prick because of his car?

@mike695ca yeah, that's my issue. Especially since the guy was actually in the car at the time and there's no information on what he was doing at the time.
