A man who thought he was giving his daughter water ended up giving her a drink of Baijiu instead.
Mr. Changping, the head of the house, ordered an 18.9 liter barrel of Yanjing brand water for his home’s water dispenser and used it to make a drink of water and honey for his daughter. After drinking the concoction, his daughter was quickly put to sleep.
Later on, Mr. Changping and his partner noticed something very quirky about the new water: it had that unmistakable Baijiu taste to it.
The company that provided the water has since decided to cancel water shipments and has sent their water for inspection.

Didn't know Yanjing did water as well as watery beer, could be a diff company I suppose

Seems like one of the water delivery boys thought it would be a funny prank. If you are kind and polite to only one person in China, make sure it is the water delivery guy.
