Domestic Violence Causes Woman to Threaten 13 Story Jump
Jun 30, 2015 By eChinacities.com

A woman in Guilin threatened to jump from the 13th story of her hotel while holding her 2-year old daughter yesterday.

Fast responders who made it to the scene engaged her in conversation and learned that her motive for jumping was because of a dispute between her and her husband.

When the responders got the husband on the scene, the woman erupted into tears shouting about his problems with gambling and family violence. She said she was jumping because she couldn’t take it anymore.

The woman and her husband then negotiated a divorce on the spot, but that wasn’t enough to convince her to go back inside. The woman was finally conciliated when the response personnel got civil administrative officials over to complete the divorce filing.

After that, the woman went back inside with her daughter and the standoff was ended.

Well he hits her so she knows she is his. Hitting her shows her that she must respect him, right?

I'm not sure if you're joking, but I laughed out loud for that one.

I reckon most Chinese men aren't worth a cracker. Most of them exist only to impress others by how far they can shove their hands up their own arse. And the funny thing is that this matters to the other Chinese people. What they truly need is a diversion. But that ain't coming any time soon. But it is coming.

Well, glad she was thinking of her daughter on that window sill. But I understand just how vile her husband is... Unfortunately, I have seen many of the same. Constantly gambling, drinking, cheating on their wives... because quite a few men in China believe that once they are married and have a child to please their parents... it's time to party and they are totally devoid of responsibilities. They usually just dump all of it onto their parents and wife.
