Dongguan Man Forgoes Night of Passion for Night of Rage

A newly wed 45 year old Dong Guan native that vandalized his company’s workspace for over 15,000 Yuan in damages recently had his charges dropped. Back In 2013, Mr. Yang gave up what presumably would have been an enjoyable night with his wife in their bridal chamber, opting for a night of rage-filled destruction in the company’s workspace instead.

The total cost of Yang’s destruction at the company amounted to over 15,000 Yuan and targets included computer operated textile machines, monitors, and other expensive equipment. The root of Yang’s anger was apparently his boss’s absence at his wedding reception, which meant that Yang was unable to receive his boss’s good wishes.

A full 2 months after the vandalism, Yang’s boss finally decided to open a formal complaint to the authorities, which resulted in Mr. Yang being sentenced to 7 months’ of prison time with 1 year of probation. Some time later however, the company forgave him of his charges after he expressed a heart-felt apology in the form of a 26,000 Yuan compensation fee.

If only Mr. Yang had decided to thrash within the confines of his bridal chamber instead of the company workspace, he likely could have avoided such a hassle.

"trash within the confines of his bridal chamber"?.........Is the writer saying he should have taken his anger out on his wife?

Yeah, I thought that was funny too. "Don't smash up my office Yang! Ain't nobody got time for that! Smash up your bridal chambers next time Yang! Avoid hassles Yang!"

Further proof that face is the single most important element in China. In its absence or to compensate for it... money will usually do.
