A group of guys in Zhengzhou wanted to play football in the city, but couldn't find any space. Then, they had the brilliant idea of building their own field on top of an unused parking garage roof.
In about a month, the guys created their own 900 square meter “football field in the air,” and shouldered all the expenses themselves.
The field is covered by a large net to keep balls in, and features full size goals, lights, and everything else you'd need in a football field.
The space has quickly become a popular hangout for football enthusiasts in Zhengzhou.
One of the creators, Xu Cong, said that he had played football in the city for more than ten years but always had trouble actually finding a place to play.
In order not the disturb those working in the surrounding office buildings, the field is only open after 15:00, and players are asked to keep the noise level down.

This is a good idea. I am happy to see some Chinese people take initiative and think outside of the box because it seems to be a rarity in the mainland.
