The Queen of England announced in a speech to Parliament today that Chinese president Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan will travel to United Kingdom in October in a state visit.
Buckingham Palace subsequently announced that Xi and Peng will stay at the Queen's residence at Buckingham Palace during the visit.
Xi's visit marks the first state visit to the United Kingdom by a Chinese president in 10 years. In 2005, Hu Jintao made a state visit to the nation.
The Queen and Prince Philip traveled to China in 1986, and Britain's Prince William Duke of Cambridge visited China earlier this year.

Hopefully the Queen can convince him to bring some decent sports to China - like rugby and cricket.

Yes you can play rugby. I mean on an international level. All I ever see on the TV is bloody basketball and soccer.
