Single Woman Hangs Men's Underwear Out Window to Deter Thieves, Accidentally Deters Date

In a fairly brilliant move, a single woman in Chongqing hung her ex-boyfriend's underwear out her window in order to deter thieves. In a not so brilliant move, she forgot to take the underwear down when she brought her date home.

Zhou Yajuan met Chen Han (pseudonym) on a Chongqing QQ group for single men and women about two months ago. Chen worked in computer repairs. One day, Zhou asked Chen about a computer problem that she had, and they met up so that he could help her fix it.

Zhou said her and Chen were both single, about the same age, and had a lot of similar interests. They began to go out to eat and watch movies together. Zhou showed a picture of Chen: he is tall and thin and wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses in the photo. Zhou said that she knew that Chen had a crush on her, even if he didn't admit it right away.

Zhou's girlfriends said that she should make the first move. On May 15, she sent Chen a WeChat asking him to come to her house for dinner after work. “I wanted him to know that I had feelings for him,” she said.

Zhou left work early that day and cooked a nice homemade meal for her and Chen. Chen arrived later in the evening with some fruit and two bottles of Coke.

Zhou said that her and Chen were both in a good mood during dinner. They even made plans to go on a walk together after. During dinner, Chen said that he was feeling a little hot. Zhou asked him help her out and open the windows in her bedroom.

“He opened the curtains, and his face fell,” said Zhou. A few pairs of men's underwear were hanging from Zhou's window.

“Oh, you live with someone else. Sorry to bother you,” Chen's face turned dark and he quickly put on his shoes to leave. Zhou tried to explain to him that the underwear belonged to her ex-boyfriend and she used it to scare away thieves.

Chen did not listen and left. Zhou soon found that he had blocked her on his phone, on WeChat, and QQ. He even left the singles QQ group that they had met on.

ManGod

Only in China...she should have made a recording of conversation or a dog growling....set it to play at different times from different speakers in the home to make it appear there was someone home.....but underwear hanging in the window is kinda self defeating especially when you claim you are single and bring a man home take him to open your window in of all places your bedroom!

Ive heard rumors that male Chinese thieves specifically target places that have mens used underwear as they then sell them on the brown stain markets. So, actually she was doing herself more harm than good...
