The saga of the Changsha man who was injured in a car accident and had 17 girlfriends visit his hospital bed continues. On April 9, Changsha news reported that the police had launched a criminal investigation against Yuan, the cheating boyfriend. The women had been waiting for this moment ever since they found out Yuan's true colors. The women pushing for compensation were elated.
One former girlfriend named Xiao Yu (pseudonym), said that she had visited the hospital a few times and she started to suspect that Yuan was faking his injuries. However, the doctors said that Yuan's brain was actually severely damaged in the accident, and therefore he is easily confused and may have issues with memory. How convenient for him!
Another patient told Xiao Yu that he had seen some of the other young women come to visit Yuan, but they all took one look at him and left. “Some of Yuan's girlfriends who joined the WeChat group chose to give up their rights and not join the lawsuit,” said Xiao Yu. Xiao Yu said that her case was different then that of many of the other women. She said that she and Yuan had not been dating a long time, so she had not lost a lot of money to him. However, he had wrecked two of her cars, costing her almost 200,000 Yuan. “I chose to stand up for myself. Not for the money, but because I do not want any other girls to be deceived by him.”

Maybe Im missing something, but what exactly did he do that criminal charges are being considered? Its obvious that what he did is unethical in a way. But hey, he's a player preying on lonely rich women. I bet he has stepped on the wrong toes of some higher up CCP families, inwhich they lost face. (fada) You maybe able to connect the dots if you do a life review of the major things happened to you or your friends/cousins....etc. It doesn't necessarily take decades of life experience to spot karma at work; the richer your experience the faster you can spot it. I've seen early 20s girls (in US) saying 'karma sucks'. Ahem....karma teaches. LOL

I take great comfort in the fact that Karma doesn't exist. Imagine if you actually deserved every shitty thing that has happened to you throughout your life. That said, you don't need to believe in Karma to believe you will get caught if you try to have 17 girlfriends at the same time.
