An actor who has previously acted as an anti-drugs ambassador in PSA’s has been caught taking crystal meth at his Beijing home.

43-year-old Wang Xuebing, came under police surveillance after a ‘friend’ tipped them off about his drug use.

According to various sources, the actor has been using drugs for over 15 years, and first turned to drugs in order to lose weight for a role.

He filmed his anti-drugs work in 2006-2006, stating: “We should stay away from drugs ... As an actor, I receive more public attention and I would like to take advantage of my status to contribute to anti-drug affairs.”

Wang starred in the critically acclaimed, “Black Coal, Thin Ice”, which won the Golden Bear at Berlin’s International Film Festival.
