Chinese ‘Pimp Networks’ Uncovered in Paris

Chinese ‘Pimp Networks’ Uncovered in Paris
Feb 13, 2015 By eChinacities.com

According to ‘Le Parisien’, a Paris newspaper, three Chinese prostitution networks have been uncovered in the city in the past year, involving 200 Chinese women.

They were found to be facilitating prostitution in over 20 Chinese-run restaurants and karaoke parlors around the city.

The network recruited women as sex workers though online classified ads and used illegal taxi cabs to transport them. The women claimed to be students and charged 500-800 Euros for each encounter and handed over a portion to their ‘managers’. The money was then sent back to China. When the Parisian police raided the headquarters of the network, they found several thousands of Euros in cash.

Radio France Internationale reported that most of the clients were wealthy Chinese businessmen and that two of the ‘pimps’ have been arrested, a 28-year-old male and a 25-year-old female.
