Xiu Qiu, a nine-year-old Chinese model, walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday for the second time.
The model was praised for her calm and composed performance as she walked the runway in front of hundreds of spectators and flashing cameras.
She appeared in an elegant silk cream gown and floral headband, closing for Lawrence Xu’s collection. Xu, who is an up and coming designer on the global market, pays homage to his Chinese heritage in his designs, using ancient silk weaving traditions in many of his pieces.
Xiu Qiu first appeared on the Paris Fashion Week catwalk in Xu’s haute couture show last year.
