Man Miraculously Woken by 100 RMB Note

A man who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and fell into a coma after spending several nights in a row at an internet cafe was supposedly brought out of his unconscious state by the allure of a 100 RMB note.

The man, surnamed Li, lapsed into the coma in August 2013, but started showing small signs of life in March 2014, such as opening his eyes and moving his fingers. The biggest breakthrough occurred however when a nurse waved a 100 RMB bank note in front of him saying that he could have it if he grabbed it.

Miraculously, Li managed to grab the note after several minutes of effort and fully emerged from the coma. The deputy director of the neurological department said that there were many factors that contributed to his recovery and the money could have been a trigger.

Li can now walk with assistance but still has a long way to go.

Unfortunately for Mr Li, he fell back into his coma when he realised that the 100 was a fake.

'Li can now walk with assistance but still has a long way to go.' That long way can be shortened significantly ---- wave a wad of RMB100 notes this time.
