Executive Leads Double Life as Spider Man Thief

Executive Leads Double Life as Spider Man Thief

A seemingly respectable executive has been discovered to be leading a secret double life as a cat burglar in Guangdong province.

It has been said that the man was able to climb up high rise residential apartments and disappear without a trace, carrying peoples money and goods with him. The gentleman, surnamed Yu, was captured in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province and police found large quantities of gold and laptops among the booty stashed in his apartment.

A police spokesperson announced that Yu is implicated in over 20 burglaries in the local area, with a total of almost 50 million RMB in stolen goods. The officers handling the case are frankly baffled as there is no clear motive for the 27 year old to commit these crimes.

Police became suspicious after they viewed surveillance footage and discovered that Yu’s car was always present before incidents of burglary occurred.

The police tracked the registration and owner of the vehicle and secretly tracked his movements. They caught him on August 31 when he was caught scaling the side of a residential building by climbing the gas pipe.

Yu was known for his luxurious lifestyle, had been staying long term in a luxury hotel and often donated to charitable causes.

There is no clear motive to commit the crimes? Wouldn't 50 million rmb in stolen goods be a possible motive?

Technically, he would be closer to a double life as Venom thief than Spider-Man.

Oh dear Spider Man, you turned to the dark side! Why? Oh, 50 million. Hey can I borrow a laptop? Mine is acting funny.

I want to borrow some gold! Mine is... not enough. Who would keep that much gold at home and not in a safe?

"that Yu’s car was always present before incidents of burglary occurred" That's some fine detective work... it only took them 20+ times to figure that out.
