On November 7, Peng Xiaohui, a professor of sexology, attended the 12th Guangzhou Sex Culture Festival. However, when he took the stage to give a lecture he was assaulted by a woman who poured a bucket over faeces over his head. It took a few days before Peng Xiaohui was willing to be interviewed.
He admitted to feeling very distraught by the incident, taking a few days off to deal with it, and said that he would exercise more caution next time if participating in such events. However, he claimed that he would continue his research and expressing his views on sexuality. His views are sometimes deemed to be “bold” and have caused controversy before.
The woman was escorted immediately after she assaulted the Central China Normal University sexology professor, and an investigation is still underway.

One thing I've always wondered about this sort of attack. Do they bring the stuff from home or do they come with eggs or rotten tomatoes and then think of a better idea once they arrive?

I don't know what all the fuss is about with sex. I tried it once and it wasn't that good. Seriously though, this story is not much different to Xtian fundies attacking sex education in US or Australian schools. It's always the progressives vs the conservatives.

It has always baffled me that the country with the worlds largest population has such a huge problem talking about sex. Where do they think all these people came from?
