Polluted Fashion: Facemasks Hit the Runway

Even the fashion industry is all about the smog right now; as a lot of fashionable facemasks were worked into the runway show at China Fashion Week. And no, we don’t mean the ‘fashion masks’ that cost 10 RMB in the random shops – we mean the real designer masks.

Business Insider has made a great compilation of the images, as has China Daily.

We aren’t surprised that smog protection devices have made an appearance in fashion week, as smog has been a central topic of conversation throughout the country.
