Survey Reveals Many Potential Employees Rejected because of Star Sign

As China moves into the busy autumn period, Zhaopin.com, a popular recruitment website, conducted a survey and discovered that candidates are being rejected for positions based on their star signs.

One advertising agency director explained that star signs can reflect someone’s personality; for example, Geminis will be good at public relations, Scorpios make good art editors whereas Sagittarius’ and Capricorns make good media strategists. Another manager from an online company rejected a Scorpio candidate because she was trying to ‘set up good star sign conditions for the sake of harmony in the department’.

At the same time, a survey was published on Weibo, titled ‘Which Star Sign Finds it Most Difficult to Get a Job?’ The results showed that Virgos have the most trouble finding work, followed by Pisces’ and Scorpios.
