A 21 year old woman has been sentenced to jail for beating up an old security guard after he rejected her attempts to prostitute herself to him.
On March 18, Xiaoping, who came to Harbin from the countryside in order to work, was walking through a parking lot. She was short of cash and so had the idea of prostituting herself to make money.
She spied the parking lot night watch man in his cubicle, and saw an opportunity. She pushed open the door where an older man was settling in for the parking lot night watch, and offered her services for 300 RMB. When she was rejected, she was so startled that she beat the old man up, stole his 900 RMB and his cell phone, and ran.
When the old man reported her to the police, Xiaoping was quickly caught and arrested. This week, she was sentenced to three years and two months for robbery in prison at Daowai District court.

rejection is a terrible thing to swallow. Maybe the old man had more respect for the young girl then she did for herself.

I love my apartment complex's security guards. They are like 80(at least they look that way). If I go out after 11 to get something at the local mart they are usually passed out with their feet up on the desk.
