Taobao Vendor Threatens Customer by Sending Body Bag after Bad Review

Taobao Vendor Threatens Customer by Sending Body Bag after Bad Review
Sep 05, 2014 By eChinacities.com

A man in Fujian, who left a bad review on a Taobao shop's page was shocked to find that the vendor had mailed him a body bag in revenge.

The customer had ordered some shoes from the shopping website but was dissatisfied with the quality of the product and the slow service, so he decided to express this on the shop's review section. Big mistake.

He first received no less than 80 phone calls from the vendor, located in Quanzhou, and after successfully blocking his number, thought that the ordeal was over.

However, on August 30, he received a parcel containing a black body bag. The parcel had been ordered anonymously, but after investigating, it was discovered that the 38 RMB body bag, (bargain!) was linked to the Taobao shop in Quanzhou.

The vendor was also connected to a mysterious fridge delivery the week before; he apparently had hoped that Xue would have to pay for. His dastardly plot was foiled however, when the delivery company called Xue to arrange delivery and he was able to cancel it.

So next time you're about to post a bad review on Taobao, think carefully about who is on the other end, and the fact that they know where you live.

Such sensitive flowers should put as much effort into customer service as they do to pursuing dissatisfied customers.

Actually happens more often than you think. One of my coworkers gave a person a bad taobao review, because the dress they sent her was the wrong color and was shoddy quality(and that's me being kind). They place first called her at least 30 times until she gave me the phone and I spent 15 minutes chewing them out in Spanish. They called again and I chewed them out in French. They stopped calling and sent someone to threaten her in person. I had to walk her home for about 2 weeks. Police refused to investigate they basically said, "Well she isn't injured so its not our problem".
