Office workers at a Shenzhen based financial company have created their own alternative to the ALS Ice Bucket challenge which is taking the internet by storm- the stripping challenge.
The ALS challenge has come under fire recently for wasting precious water resources; particularly in northern China where several provinces have been battling drought for several years.
The colleagues posed with serious expressions in their underwear under a sign that read: “Take part in the Stripping Challenge, boycott the Ice Bucket Challenge”.
We’ll have to wait and see if it catches on...

Stripping is supposed to be a woman/man in their B-day suits not dressed like they are going to a pool party. My lord the girls are wearing two pieces! What has happened to the moral fabric of China :)

Can China invent anything or start any world-wide trends or new memes that "go viral" and capture the world's attention, despite those trends and memes being "stupid" or "trivial"? This is the real question and focus of the Culture Wars that we are seeing on the internet media landscape. Japan has Pokemon,Korea has Gangnam Style K-Pop, Russia has vodka and Putin, U.S.A has Brad Pitt and American Idol, England has Earl Grey tea and the Queen, etc. China has.......poorly cloned consumer products and...what else? Jackie Chan?

well stripping is arousing sexuality andit is better done in a closed atmossphere like a strip bar stripping in offices and roads is inviting much more trouble than just wasting of water

Guy in top left corner of photo is checking out girl in pink bikini's rack. Wars in Africa, Iraq, Syria and Gaza and they rage against people tipping buckets of water over their heads. It's all about priorities.

Water isn't a finite resource - it's a renewable resource. If it was finite then it wouldn't ever rain. Places like Shenzhen have too much rain this time of year rather than too little - so your post doesn't really make much sense.

If fresh water is 0.3% of all water and finite then soon it would drop down to 0.2% and then 0.1% and then disappear. Water falls from the sky and oil doesn't. Oil is predicted to last for another 40 years because it is finite. Can you tell me when all the "reserves" of water will be depleted?

I read this as "Shenzhen boss devises and implements diabolical plan to see his employees in their undies." The girl in black is a 20 on a 10 scale, IMO. =]
