Residents living nearby one of the largest train stations in the world have found a novel use for the space. Dozens of residents have set up their own badminton nets and used the indoor space as a badminton court, as a way to enjoy the sport without having to go outside in the sweltering summer heat.
Hangzhou East Station will become one of the largest railway stations in the world after links to the Nanjing-Ningbo high speed rail are fully developed. The departure hall is extremely spacious, around 60 meters tall and 22 meters wide, allowing space for several badminton courts.
One resident said that she comes here every day after dinner and that it has now become a great place to socialize, as well as keeping her kids off the iPad. Hopefully the local dancing ayis won’t hear about the space and take it over, as they are wont to do.

Not surprising. The Chinese government provides absolutely nothing in the way of entertainment for the people. Can't blame the people for wanting to have some fun and do something. China is by far the most boring country in the world.

20 of them are playing old china dramas, 20 of them are playing sino-japan war drama, 9 of them only news and the last one english chanel is not worth to look at
