The chengguan are at it again, and this time they’re trying to ruin summer. The Beijing Urban Management and Law Enforcement Agency announced yesterday that private barbeques are too polluting and are now illegal in Beijing.
The chengguan or ‘city managers’, have been conducting a scourge of barbeques across the city since January this year and so far have collected 93,631 RMB in fines.

try open window maybe :D Yeah, there are some good days this summer, I am wondering myself too. but I do not believe is because of BBQ bans... Can you imagine how it could be in Europe ? sometimes we have had every weekend some BBQ. and that's all around...
