Football Fever: Where to Watch the World Cup around China
Jun 10, 2010 By eChinacities.com

It comes around every four years and is a world wide extravaganza that is only rivaled by the Olympics. Yes, that’s right, the 2010 FIFA World Cup is almost upon us. On the 11th of June, and continuing for a whole month, football mania is likely to sweep the globe. For any football lover – and even many people who don’t give a second thought to football/soccer – the World Cup is an opportunity to go out on the town, enjoy the summer weather and, most importantly, have a cold one with friends. Although this year’s competition is held in South Africa, there are still plenty of opportunities to watch each of the matches live on huge screens here in China, while at the same time experiencing that indescribable buzz, excitement and anxiety that fills the air whenever a global event on this scale comes around. Don't be a loner, join the good times at Warehouse, where we will be streaming and projecting the games on the wall right in front of Warehouse restaurant. Cherry on top, we'll have 30% off beer refills and will offer Buffalo Wings or Steak Fries on the house with the purchase of 150RMB (let me do the math for you, that's 3 imported beers or 5 Qingdaos).
